Over the years,LFTM has enjoyed a significant growth. A non-profit organisation formed to promote increased public awareness of the need for a
healthy living. We take action through youths and community empowerment programs to reduce poverty, HIV/AIDS, unwanted pregnancy and unsafe abortion, armed conflict, violence against women and children and gender inequalities. Making this issues a priority for all.
We have partnered with other organisations to demostrate interest in alternative education and youth leadership development, especially for those from the under-represented minority communities.
LFTM has also made a significant progress in working with traditional rulers, churches, women groups and community development committees (CDC). By this we have demostrated that cmmunity outreach programs which are developed and partly managed by a community for a community makes a striking and lasting impact, believing that youths in communities who have skills and are employed are less likely to have time for armed conflict, violence, prostitution, sea piracy and hostage taking. With this our programs have attracted the attention of other NGOs as an inovative prototype for academic enrichment and has always been replicated by NGOs in other geopolitical zones.
